Our Clinic Is Joining a Family Health Organization (FHO)

As of June 1st, 2025, Halton Medix Milton will be joining a Family Health Organization (FHO). This change supports our commitment to high-quality, coordinated care and reducing wait times.

Call us & Book Ahead.

To ensure timely and coordinated care, we kindly ask all patients to call ahead and schedule an appointment, rather than walk-in. Unbooked visits are reserved strictly for urgent concerns and mainly for patients enrolled in our practice. Our new model continues to offer same-day urgent care — both in-person and virtually — with extended hours on weekends and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. We strongly advise against visiting other walk-in clinics or family doctors outside our Family Health Organization (FHO), as this may affect the continuity of your care.

What This Means for You:

1. Consistent Care from Your Family Doctor
   Doctors will see their own patients from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM by booked appointment / virtual care.
   Do not walk in during this time — please call to book.
   Urgent walk-ins: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, last registration at 7:30 PM.
   Only your doctor can fill forms or prescribe (unless away).
2. “Outside Use”
   Visiting other walk-in clinics or doctors outside the FHO is tracked and could affect your care. Please contact us first for all health needs.
3. After-Hours & Urgent Care
   You will have access to evening/weekend care with affiliated doctors. Call first, as space is limited. We may decline non-urgent visits or if full.
